It is a dinosaur fossil theme. What boys doesn't like a dinosaur park?
The boys climbed all over and went down the slides
If ya couldn't tell, Baby G loved the swing. Haha.
To the right of the playground, there was a cement pad with a music game. You could select if you wanted one player or two. You push one of those buttons and the speakers start to play music. While the music is playing, the poles have these circles on them that light up. When they light up you have to run up and hit it. It will tally up the score (red vs. green). E' loved this, running around everywhere and just dancing. Sure got his energy out. Pretty cool, ay? It was definitely a popular area at the park.
(Notice E's different shirt? We went back the next day)
To the left of the playground was another big cement pad. It had a ton of different work out stations. By each station there was a list of different work outs or stretches. A place for sit ups, pull ups, squats, stretches, etc. Little E' is demonstrating a stretch, haha. He thought it was pretty cool, too. I loved that they had a section for the Momma's (or the Dadda's) so while you were there you could get a workout in, while the kids enjoyed themselves with the other fun things.
Besides all the coolness, you get a beautiful view of the mountains while you work out and play.
Ya know, maybe I am just crazy and never knew there were parks like this? I was telling my sister about it and she said she saw one similar in Cali. I have been too sheltered here in Utah ;)
Have you seen or been to a park like this or similar?
